Israeli Gas Masks

With the gas mask market heating up, be cautious in pursuing the purchase of Israeli gas masks. First and foremost, make sure that the mask you are purchasing is brand new and is a newer model. There are many surplus gas mask vendors that sell old masks that may not be in the proper condition to protect you.

In general, stay away from anyplace that uses the word "surplus". Protecting yourself from harmful chemicals is far more important than trying to find a rock-bottom deal on gas masks sold from surplus outlets. If you are seriously considering the purchase of a true Israeli-type gas mask, be sure that it is at least a 2003 model or newer. You should also ensure that it is certified as NBC (nuclear-biological-chemical) to protect you from the widest range of harmful agents.
